Working Principle
When it comes to treatment process, wastewater is pumped into the inlet chamber of the DAF machine. In the release zone, a large number of micro-bubbles are generated, which attach to suspended particles, causing flocs to float to the surface. The floated sludge is then skimmed off by a scraper and discharged through the sludge outlet. Heavier particles settle in the inclined plate sedimentation zone and collect in the sludge hopper at the bottom of the machie, from where they are piped to a sludge tank for further treatment. The clarified water is discharged from the center pipe of the machine.
