Equipment Description
As an integrated equipment combining chemical feeding, mixing, liquid conveyor, and auto control, PC automated chemical dosing system is widely used in power plant raw water treatment, boiler feed water systems, oilfield dehydration processes, petrochemical dosing systems, and wastewater treatment. Applicable for coagulants, phosphates, ammonia solutions, lime water, corrosion inhibitors, scale inhibitors, biocides, etc.

Technical Properties

The PC automated chemical dosing system is controlled by PLC system which is friendly operated to users. It is safe and reliable, and will shut the system down and audible/ visual alarms when the malfunctions coming. Single-screw feeder with VFD ensures uniform and adjustable dosing. The maturation time is more than or equal to 1 hour under continuous operation, and the solution concentration could reach 0.1%~0.3%. At the same time, multi-stage paddle structure enhances homogenization and adjustable pre-mixer accelerates powder hydration to provide high efficiency mixing. Three-tank overflow system for simplified installation and the stainless steel design will improve corrosion resistance to extend working time. It is useful about adaptive control which dry powder feed rate auto-adjusts to water flow for consistent concentration.

Working Principle

The dry polymer is fed by screw conveyor into a pre-mixer for initial hydration. Then pre-mixed materials will be diluted in the preparation tank and matured in the aging tank. About storage and dosing, the matured solution will be stored and dosed by screw pumps to pipeline mixers. Therefore, the level interlock which will stop preparation at high level and alarm at low level and concentration control which design with proportional adjustment of powder/ water ratio are also useful in the processing. It is so comfortable that designed with optional remote control integration.
