Working Principle

The working principle of the pressure screen is to separate the impurities in the pulp from the accepted fiber by using the pressure difference and the screening element. The pulp enters the pressure screen through the inlet, and the accepted fiber and partial water pass through the screen slot under the action of pressure, discharging as accepted stock through the outlet. The coarse impurities, because the size is larger than the screen slot, get carried along by the pulp flow toward the reject port, where they're eventually discharged. This process ensures the pulp meets quality standards for the downstream papermaking or other production steps.
