Working Principle

The medium consistency refiner based on the relative motion and special structure between the grinding plates to cut off, extrude and shred the fiber materials with medium concentration, so that the fibers can be refined, broomed and split. Sharper teeth can cut off the fibers more effectively, while wider pitch is conducive to the passage of materials and the dispersion of fibers.

Equipment Usage

Medium consistency refiner is applicable to a medium concentration range of slurry concentration generally between 8% and 20%. Under this concentration, the slurry ground boasts good fiber, high strength, good uniformity, and the paper features better tensile strength, tear resistance and printability and so on.
