Working Principle
The rotating drum, driven by a motor assembly, spins continuously while a substantial volume of wash water is pumped in. Material sheets enter through the feed inlet and are propelled forward by lifting plates of the drum. This action creates a turbulent water flow that continuously tumbles and pushes the material sheets. The water flow effectively removes dust and contaminants from the sheets. Heavier impurities such as iron pieces, stainless steel parts, stones, straw, and seeds fall into the heavy debris collection trough and are periodically discharged. The cleaned sheets, carried by the water flow, fall onto subsequent dewatering equipment for solid-liquid separation.
Equipment Usage
The chip washer is mainly used in the wet preparation stages of chemical pulp, semi-chemical pulp and chemi-mechanical pulp. Through the cleaning of raw material sheets and the separation of heavy objects by the equipment, the purpose of purifying the raw material sheets is achieved. Reduced the wear and damage of heavy objects in the raw material sheets to subsequent equipment, and it also plays an important role in the moisture balance of the raw material sheets.
